This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased on Mentis ("we", "our", "us").
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Subscription Plans
Mentis offers the following subscription plans:
- Monthly - Renews every 30 days
- Quarterly - Renews every 90 days
- Annual - Renews every 365 days
Mentis may also offer a free trial or limited free usage, subject to daily usage limits.
Each plan includes full access to Premium features. Free trial periods (if applicable) will not auto-renew unless you explicitly upgrade to a paid plan.
2. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- Cancellation can be done directly within the app by managing your subscription settings.
What happens when you cancel?
- Future auto-renewals will stop
- You will retain continued access until the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds are issued solely for unused time in a subscription period unless approved under our refund policy
Important:
Cancelling your subscription does NOT delete your account or personal data. You will retain access to free features and your stored data remains safe. To completely delete your account, please use the account deletion option in settings or contact support.
3. Auto-Renewal
- All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle.
- Renewal charges will be processed using the payment method on file.
- It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.
- You will receive reminder notifications 3 days before renewal.
Reminder:
Check your payment method regularly. If your payment fails, premium features will be temporarily suspended until the payment issue is resolved.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. We prioritize fairness and customer satisfaction while protecting against abuse.
4.1 Eligible Refund Requests
You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase in the following situations:
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Technical issues preventing reasonable access to paid features
- Incorrect subscription charges (e.g., charged for wrong plan tier)
4.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds may be denied if:
- The subscription has been partially or fully used
- AI-based interactions or personalized features have already been consumed
- A significant portion of the subscription period has elapsed
- The refund request falls outside the 48-hour window
- The request is made after cancellation without clear justification
Example: If you purchase a monthly plan on Monday and request a refund on Thursday after using the app for 3 days, the refund may be denied unless there was a technical issue or billing error.
5. Failed or Duplicate Payments
- Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of premium features.
- You will be notified of failed payments and given a grace period to update your payment method.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges, if verified, will be refunded or adjusted accordingly.
- Once payment is successful, premium features will be restored immediately.
Payment Issues:
If you experience recurring payment failures, update your payment method in app settings or contact us for assistance. We use Razorpay for secure payment processing.
6. Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
- Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider.
- Credit card refunds may appear as credits before being fully posted.
- For UPI or digital wallet payments, refunds may process faster (1–3 business days).
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed. If the refund does not appear after 14 days, please contact us with your transaction ID.

- Continued use of paid services indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
