By accessing or using Mentis, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About Mentis
Mentis is a mental wellness platform that provides:
- Self-guided mental wellness content (including meditation, journaling, and CBT-based tools)
- AI-based mental health support
- Mood tracking and self-assessments
- Access to government-listed emergency and crisis helplines
Mentis is designed for mental wellness and self-reflection purposes only.
2. Important Medical Disclaimer
- Mentis does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
- The Platform is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic care.
- Any content, AI-generated responses, assessments, or recommendations are informational and supportive only.
- Always seek the advice of a qualified mental health professional for any mental health concerns.
Emergency Situations
Mentis is not intended for emergency use.
If you believe you may harm yourself or others, please:
- Contact your local emergency number immediately, or
- Reach out to the government helplines listed within the app.
3. Eligibility and Use by Minors
- There is currently no fixed minimum age to use Mentis.
- If you are under 18, you must use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- By allowing a minor to use Mentis, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the minor's use.
4. User Accounts
- You may need to create an account to access certain features.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may delete your account at any time using the in-app options or by contacting support.
- Mentis reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. AI-Based Features
Mentis uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, insights, and recommendations.
You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs are not human-generated advice
- AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation
- You should not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, or clinical decisions
6. Subscriptions and Payments
- Mentis offers both free and paid subscription plans.
- Payments are processed through Razorpay.
- Paid subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Pricing, features, and plans may change from time to time, with notice where required by law.

7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Platform or attempt to disrupt its functioning
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Platform or its content

- Misrepresent your identity or provide false information

All content on Mentis, including text, designs, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Mentis.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Mentis:

- For misuse of the Platform
- If required by law or regulation
You may stop using Mentis at any time.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
In case of disputes:
- Parties will attempt to resolve matters amicably
- Failing which, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in India
- Courts in India shall have jurisdiction where applicable

- Continued use of Mentis after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
